Hi Fellow Cycle Breaker,

I am a Bilingual (Spanish/English) New York Native that relocated to Houston, Texas in 2015. Having graduated from Molloy College with a Bachelor's in Social Work, I went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2011. Since then, I have had the honor of working with people from all walks of life in various settings, including outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, a non-profit organization and in the private practice setting. I am happily married to my wonderful husband for 15 years and love the adventure of
raising 3 amazing daughters.
One of my greatest passions is helping parents break the generational cycles of trauma and empower them to become the best version of themselves while they pass down to their kids their healing, rather than their trauma.

I specialize in working with adults:
-who have experienced childhood trauma
-have PMDD and/or other women's issues
-who are caregivers of children with special needs

For those seeking a faith-based approach, I can incorporate my Christian faith in the counseling process. (Must be explicitly requested by the client)

I am a Native Houstonian and have had the pleasure of growing up in such a diverse and culturally rich city. I graduated from the University of Houston with my Bachelor's in Psychology, and then obtained my Master's in Social Work from the University of Houston-Graduate College of Social Work in 2016. Since 2010, I have had the privilege of working in various settings to include outpatient mental healthcare, substance abuse, permanent supportive housing, and acute inpatient psychiatric care. What I have loved most about my work is being able to walk alongside individuals going through the recovery and healing process, and to help integrate mental healthcare into daily life. I have been married to my husband for 16 years, and have had the life changing joy of becoming a mother to our incredible daughter.
I have a passion in working with adults going through life transitions, maternal mental health and women's issues, or dealing with symptoms of anxiety and depression. I look forward to working with you as you embark on your healing journey.
